Face time at Research Expo on April 16

Face time. That’s one of great things about Research Expo at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering: you get so much face time with hundreds of engineers and technologists working at the cutting edge of their disciplines.

At the poster session (on April 16), more than 200 graduate students will be stationed at their posters, ready to discuss the latest research in their lab. You can walk around the poster session and connect with graduate students from all six departments at the Jacobs School in a short period of time. You get a sense of what is happening on the front lines of so many fields of engineering, computing and technology research, all in one afternoon.

This window into the Jacobs School can lead to so many useful outcomes for attendees: recruiting / possible research partnerships / personal enrichment / professional development, etc.

The four faculty talks at Research Expo and networking reception are also great venues for face time.

Research Expo 2015 Highlights
* 200+ graduate student poster session
