WHO: Anyone who is interested (even non-engineers!).
WHAT: The Jacobs School of Engineering at UC San Diego is hosting the 3rd annual pi-mile (3.14) run/walk sponsored by the Jacobs Graduate Student Council (JGSC), and the Triton Engineering Student Council (TESC).
WHERE: The
Bear Courtyard (between the Bioengineering and Computer Science and Engineering Buildings) - see route map.
WHEN: Friday March 14th, 2014 at 12:00pm.
WHY: To benefit the San Diego Science Alliance (http://sdsa.org/) - An organization that fosters K-12 science education in San Diego.
REGISTRATION for the event is $10, which includes a free t-shirt and a slice of delicious pie!
For the 2nd year in a row, we will be having a t-shirt contest to design the 2014 pi-run shirt. If you have design ideas, please send 300 dpi images tojacobsgraduatestudentcouncil@
